Shipping Fees
Portfolio products: £3.50 flat rate. Accessories: £3.50 flat rate. Some products have free shipping and will be marked as such. For the UK other fees apply.
Delivery
We provide world-wide* shipping by ordinary air mail.
*Exceptions: For orders to Russia, Ukraine, South Africa, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan we provide delivery by email only.
Please allow three business days from date of purchase to date of shipment. If you live in Northern Europe you should receive the Lairdship Portfolio within approximately 1.5 weeks. For deliveries to Southern Europe please allow for 2 weeks. If you live outside Europe, please allow approximately 2 – 4 weeks from date of order to delivery at your place. Certain countries, e.g. Australia, Far East and South America, may have longer delivery times.
The accessories are made-to-order dropshipped products and have approximately 3 – 4 weeks delivery time.
The shipping carriers used to transport our products are well-established international shipping carriers. However, once the product has left the place of fabrication Native Woods Preservation (NWP) does not control of the shipment and can therefore not warrant delivery time. Shipment delays may sometimes occur due to varying customs security processing.
Shipping Address Requirement
Please provide a complete address with house number for delivery of ordinary letters with a mailbox with your name clearly marked on it. Please note that for certain countries, such as Italy, we do not accept delivery to business addresses due to experience with loss of mail. If the address is incomplete, faulty or a business address, we do not reship for free if the order is lost.
Christmas Shipping
In December all shipments take more time than during the rest of the year, particularly long-distance. Hence, in order to be safe you should order as early as possible and add a couple of weeks to our ordinary shipping times.
Customs, Taxes and Duties
Historic Estates Ltd (HEL) qoutes all prices inclusive of British taxes. However, you may be subject to importation duties and taxes in your own country when you receive products from us. All items entering a country are subject to customs inspection and the assessment of duties and taxes in accordance with that country’s national laws. Customs duties and taxes are generally assessed if the merchandise is dutiable and the value of the item is above the threshold set by the national laws. If in doubt, you may contact your local customs office for further information, since custom policies vary a lot from country to country. Our lairdship portfolios will normally not incur taxes, but the accessories might depending on their value.
When ordering from HEL, you are considered to be the importer of the goods and it is your responsibility to comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.
HEL does not assume responsibility for any VAT, customs, duties or brokerage fees at the time and place of delivery.
